Where it  Began

My story as a Chef and menu curator is not the same as most. I grew up with my mom who didn't care for cooking very much and ironically, I was the 'only eats chicken nuggets and fries' type of picky eater.

However, from a young age I was drawn to visual art and the power of being moved by experiencing a moment created entirely by someone else's perspective. This was an interest that naturally evolved into an appreciation for how people truly eat with their eyes first. Over time, that creative lens found its home in trying and curating new food, where colour, texture, and composition are just as meaningful as flavor.

My desire to start my own business grew from recognizing that at the center of life’s most important moments was food. Whether it be weddings, birthdays, or simply reconnecting with a long-lost friend, these moments are so often centered around good food, good drinks, and of course good company.

After years of no longer eating only chicken nuggets, and working my way up to the top of my class in culinary school, I had found my passion. I wanted to continue to create experiences that honor those important moments, using intentional, beautifully curated dishes to bring people together and make each gathering feel memorable. That life altering moment has resulted in my now 8 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry.

It means a lot to me to show people different ways of approaching food and to offer a new perspective through what I create. Being trusted with those moments around the table is something that I will continue to value with every plate I serve in my career.
